In a previous post, I shared with you the benefits of journaling as a resource on your journey of learning how to love yourself. In this post, I wanted to share with you a list of self love journal prompts that could assist you when you need an idea on what to journal about.
Journaling has a lot of benefits that you can read about here. I think it is a great tool to use when you are on your self love journey because it helps you apply what you are learning along the way as well as taking the things that are in your head and putting them on paper.
This is a great tool for self-reflection and self-awareness as you progress in your journey to self love.
These self love journal prompts can be used when you need an idea of what to journal about. They can also be used when you need guidance along your journey.
As you set aside time to journal, I suggest using a journal and your favorite writing utensil. Here are some of my favorite journals to use. I also love these InkJoy pens by Papermate because they write so smoothly and donāt smudge.
Each day (or whatever days you have chosen to journal) set aside at least 5-10 minutes to devote to your journaling. I suggest first reading through the prompt, and then just write out your answer.
It could be in paragraph or list form. As you are writing, do not stop and edit yourself. Let whatever is in your mind be written; just let it flow out.
After you have written everything out, then go back and read what you wrote. Take note of what you have said and acknowledge it. Embrace it if it needs to be embraced. Be completely honest in your answers even if you donāt fully accept who you are yet.
